Dave Kennedy releases his "ElseWorldz EP" on Original Drum Hsi! Having been a DJ since 1983, Dave Kennedy is no stranger to the many styles of "dance music." As he has continued to collect & spin the music throughout the years… his love for the art has never died, & with his "ElseWorldz EP", one can hear that!
In his own words…
Dave Kennedy (Chicago Illinois, US):
"The overall concept of "ElseWorldz" is to take the listener out of their worldly shell & provide them
with a tool to move them into a higher vibration"
Regarding "Moment In Tibet" — "I wanted to take different styles of multiple cultures & blend
them together."
"Moonlight Stomp" — "I was messing around in the studio & when I came up with the basic foundation
of the track, I instantly heard its afrobeat element. I knew I'd need additional musicians to take the song where I heard it going."
"ElseWorld" — "To me, this track puts me in the mindset of space travel. I wanted to add some
sounds of today alongside a few sounds of the 70's… to get the listener into that very same frame of thought."
"Dark Matter" — "This track is about exposing your primal self, & using music as the medium to do so. There were many things I had in mind while producing Dark Matter, but what stood out the most was 'the dancer'… the dancer who frees themselves from the world with pieces such as this."
The "ElseWorldz EP" is a project that has a multitude of different elements that are fuzed together in such a seamless way, that one has no choice but to be lifted if they truly seek to do so. It is full of vibrations that are able to take one high, but at the same time keep them aware of in-depth feeling & spiritual awareness. Original Drum Hsi is proud to present this project to you.
