Original Drum Hsi is honored to bring to you “Caught Up”: the first of many “Flipgroove” compositions available on the Original Drum Hsi label. Flipgroove Prod. are the works of the talented & musically inclined producer Rick Shaw. Rick Shaw is no stranger to House Music & would be considered a veteran of Tri-State (NY/NJ/CT) House in the US. “Caught Up” features the beautiful vocal talents of Jacqueline “Jackie” Kemp; another longtime vocalist with a deep knowledge of soul music. Flipgroove provides you with the “Original Demo Mix”, & “The Zanzibar '11 Mixes”. Both hot enough to rock all the way out to. The “Zanzibar '11” mixes – in title; give reference to one of the first “House Music” nightclubs in NJ, out of which many of the more renown artists in US House Music today actually had a platform to showcase as well as have their music heard. More importantly, the “Zanzibar '11” mixes are a kinda tribute to a very key figure to the survival of House Music in the states, at a time when House Music was in its beginning stages: still just “HOOD Music”, & for the most part, UNKNOWN to the masses. That Icon is none other than Tony Humphries. (Some House History 101) =) Also available in Part. 1 of this release is the “IBDigital Remix”. IBDigital Prod. are the efforts of yet another musically inclined producer, Ivan Baker. Ivan takes the song to an entirely different realm by incorporating his knowledge of harmony & instrumentation into a mix that is guaranteed to set off any soul seeking to dance. Be ye NOT afraid to do just that!... DANCE TO THIS!
